My Hobbies

I don’t just sit around doing nothing. I have a bunch of hobbies that keep me busy, sane, and not losing my mind after school. These are the ones that actually matter to me.

Video Games

Video games are easily one of my favorite ways to relax. After a long day of school, homework, and stress, gaming is how I reset my brain.

I mainly play strategy and adventure games because they actually make you think. I’m not really into mindless stuff that gets boring after five minutes.

My first console was the Xbox 360, so I’ve always stuck with Xbox. I’ve never owned a PlayStation, and honestly, I don’t see a reason to switch now.

The first game I ever played was Lego Marvel Super Heroes. I spent way too many hours unlocking characters and doing everything possible in that game, and I don’t regret it at all.

I’m not a huge fan of shooter games like Call of Duty. They’re fun for a bit, but they get repetitive fast. I’d rather play sandbox games like Minecraft or The Sims where I can actually be creative and do my own thing.

Sometimes I play online with friends, and it’s honestly one of the best ways to hang out without being in the same place. We mess around, plan stuff, and just have fun.

Gaming has also helped me get better at problem-solving and patience. Some levels are brutal, but figuring them out is part of the fun.

Coding

Coding on a computer

Coding is one of my favorite hobbies because I like building things and actually seeing my ideas turn into something real on a screen.

There’s something satisfying about writing code, hitting run, and seeing it work. And when it doesn’t work, fixing it feels like solving a puzzle.

I want a career in coding because it’s flexible and future-proof. You’re not stuck doing physical labor or being locked in one place forever.

Coding jobs can be remote, office-based, or anywhere in between. Even if I moved to another city or country, I’d still be able to find work.

It’s also a field that’s in high demand and usually pays well, which is a huge bonus. That’s why I’m serious about learning and improving my skills now.

Making small projects and websites challenges me, but finishing them feels great. Coding isn’t easy, but that’s exactly why I like it.

Soccer (or Football, Whatever You Call It)

I’m not a massive sports person, but I do enjoy playing soccer sometimes, especially during gym class.

I play mostly to have fun, not because I’m trying to go pro or anything.

I usually play defense. I’m good at stealing the ball, but my aim is kind of bad, so scoring takes me a few tries.

My favorite team is Real Madrid, and my favorite player is Messi, even though he never played for them. Still the GOAT.

Watching soccer isn’t really my thing, but I’ll watch a game once in a while.

Listening to Music

I don't really listen to music that much but I will listen to it when I’m working, studying, or just trying to relax.

Rock music is my go to because I like the sound of rock.

Some of my favorite bands are:

Skillet

Thousand Foot Krutch

Linkin Park

Sum 41
